Fall Women's Conference

“First Look” is the grand culmination of a series of conferences designed ​to empower women to navigate the narrow path and thrive in their ​pursuit of knowing and glorifying God here on earth, and to grow in ​exciting expectation of His soon return. The first five conferences ​strategically moved us forward in understanding our relationship with ​Him to the point that now we are longing for Him as a bride longs for her ​groom during the long-awaited the engagement period. It is our deepest ​desire that you will eagerly watch for His appearing. Scripture provides a ​description of what we are eagerly awaiting in Revelation 19:6-9.

Join us as we celebrate the anticipation of Christ’s return through ​teaching, application, and fellowship together.

Meet Our Speakers

Ginger Monroe - Keynote Speaker

Ginger grew up on a south Georgia farm where her strongest influences were a godly mother and the book-mobile. These

led her to become an English teacher, women's ministry

leader, and conference speaker. Her passion is helping

women fall in love with Jesus by loving His Word. Wife to

Walt and mother of two adult daughters, she loves to talk

theology and books over a cup of dark roast coffee and a chocolate chip cookie.

Kara Conrey - First Session

Kara and her husband, Ian, moved to Ellijay, GA in 2010 and they ​absolutely love it here! She is a local realtor and homeschool mom, ​and they recently opened "The Gumdrop Fun Shop" toy store in ​downtown Ellijay. She and Ian have worked in various ministries ​within the church. Kara is passionate about living a daily walk with ​Christ and not wasting our lives. One of her life verses is Romans ​12:2, "Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the ​renewal of your mind".

Amy Klassen - Second Session

Amy is a Gilmer County native who has a heart for the community and a ​deep love for her family, her church, and her Savior. She serves as the ​Connectons Director at Covenant Community Church in Ellijay and is ​passionate about helping others grow in their relationship with God and ​others around them. She and her husband, Ricky, love to adventure with ​their children and try new things!

Brooke Young & Lila Hensley - Worship

Lila & Brooke have so much in common! They are both ​newlyweds who serve alongside their husbands in the Catalyst ​Student Ministry. Lila works in health insurance and enjoys ​cooking new recipes, crafting, and spending time with her ​family. Brooke is a Customer Service Supervisor of a pest ​company and enjoys adventuring with her husband, playing ​music, and shopping for fun things for her children.As part of ​the worship team at Covenant Community Church, they each ​use their gifts to bring praise to and glorify the Lord.
